It was recently discovered yesterday that Robert Plant had penned The Immigrant Song not in Iceland as originally throught but rather when he was living in southern Texas. Who knew? Not me, that's for sure. Apparently he written the following lyrics well before he had rearranged them for the opening track of Led Zeppelin III. Man, I guess you learn something everyday.

Agh agh ah....ah (repeat)
We come from the land of the dirt and beans,
from the shantytowns where stray dogs are mean.
The semis of the gods
Will drive our asses to new lands,
To work at Wendy's, singing and crying:
El Dio, I am coming!
Even with your wall of brick and mortar,
Our only goal will be the southern border.

Ah, ah, We come from the land of the dirt and beans,
from the shantytowns where stray dogs are mean.
How soft your fields so green,
Can whisper tales of Wal-Marts,
Of how we calmed the nerves of whities.
You are our overlords.
Even with your wall of brick and mortar,
Our only goal will be the southern border
So now you’d better stop going to Taco Bell,
For minimum wage can pay for the real thing
Despite of all your capitalism.
